Al Barakat has been producing premium extra virgin olive oil since 1986. Since then, Al Barakat has achieved several milestones and received many awards and certificates guaranteeing the quality of the olive oil. Some of these awards include a "Certificate of Appreciation" from his Majesty King Abdullah II, "Quality Certification" from the Ministry of Agriculture, certificates of conformity by the International Olive Oil Council and by the Organoleptic Assessment of Virgin Olive Oils assuring that the product is classified as "Extra Virgin Olive Oil". In addition, the farm is currently in the final 3rd stage of conversion to organic. The harvest for 2013/14 will be labeled as ‘organic’. Al Barakat received the ISO certificate and adheres to the standard. Also, received the HACCP certificate and abides by its strict practices.
